La Spaziale Heating Triac

I ordered a total of 3 of these heating triac relays for my Spaziale S1 Vivaldi II espresso machine. Only one of them worked reliably. Of the 2 triacs that did not work, one arrived DOA (Clive graciously sent me a free replacement), and the other failed during initial testing. This led me to the conclusion that they are fragile and/or poorly made, so I recommend using a solid state relay to use instead. Solid state relays are more robust and they can be found with design ratings matching the votage/current for espresso machine applications.
